Rapturous is like any other affliction except for two things, the flagellant gets a (pretty good) buff to Speed and Damage (I think it's +3 SPD and +25% DMG respectively), the main downside is obviously the extra stress for the rest of the party, but also the Flagellant has a chance to HIT one of your allies for quite alot of damage. it's a Risk.
